High pressure dominating except for a softer pressure dip from Thursday to Saturday — broadly settled with a transient unsettled interlude centred on Thursday.The week ahead looks set to be changeable, with recurring frontal systems crossing the country interspersed with drier, calmer spells. Following the prolonged dry spell, groundwater is gradually recharging, and rivers across most regions are following suit. This week's rain is forecast to be generally light (bar the odd sharp shower in places), which should be just enough to colour the rivers up nicely. Combined with the largely overcast conditions extending the feeding window, I'd say this is the best spell for Barbel so far this year. |
